Our fall 2021 Medieval Literature final built on the work of Caitlin McLane and Verity Sayles.  Wen Yu Ho, Jeff Bandel, Henry Gould and myself celebrated the end of the fall trimester with a medieval revels celebration outside the annex.  Students came dressed up and in character working together to solve hypothetical problems set in Medieval Europe. 

These types of experiential projects drew me to EPS and continue to be assignments that I look forward to the most.  I think the students also appreciate seeing their teachers dressing up, acting silly, and actively participating. 

For this project in particular I really enjoyed bringing a little propane fire pit and playing some medieval tavern music for ambiance.
